Last year I was invited to go to Zurich to take place on One Young World event and I was able to experience a “wake up call” to the world.
A wake up call not to the world I’m part, but to the needs of a different and unknown world of millions of people that are starving for changes.
Inspired by this proactive environment and decided to change my actions and make a difference in this world I enrolled to be part of RB Latam Challenge that will take place in Colombia this year.
Latam Challenge is an event sponsored by Save the Children and local NGOs that have social projects focused on helping people all over Latin America.
This year’s event will take place on the coffee region in Colombia and the participants have the task of fundraising £2.000 until the end of May. Once you raise the amount, you will be allowed to join the event.
Once in Colombia, that’s when the real adventure and social work begins: a 35 kilometers walk and a week of house buildings for the people in need.
Seeing the smiley eyes of a child and being able to interact and give something to others is what motivated me on doing this journey – a journey to Colombia and a journey to finding my real me.
