Divya – Sales

Area Sales Manager

Name: Divya
Nationality: Indian
Where I work for RB: India – Sales & Marketing

Education:  I graduated in Economics from Delhi University. I took my MBA in marketing and finance from IIM Kozhikode.

Career:I was recruited while doing my MBA during the campus placement process. I joined RB in June 2008 and started a year of Management Training program in the Sales & Marketing function.

During the first six months I did my sales training for a period of seven months in the West Region across five different territories in five different roles. This was followed by a month of trade marketing exposure and three months of working on the brand Lizol in an activation profile.
I also got an opportunity during this time to be a part of the Team Spark and was one of the main organizers of an event called Vibrance which aimed to strengthen the bond between the families of employees and RB.

I was recently posted as Area Sales Manager, Punjab, which is a state in the northern part of India. It is a prosperous state and is also considered the granary basket of India. I am responsible for the sales and administration of the state. Already I have undertaken several projects including expanding direct coverage and realigning existing structures to increase efficiency in the business.
