5 lessons RB has taught me

Thinking over my career development at RB, I caught myself thinking how the company has helped me change some of my weak points and I wanted to share them here on this, the official Reckitt Benckiser blog!

1.  Confidence in my opinion - I remember trembling before my first calling to the supplier – now it is funny, but then I was preparing for this call for 10-20 minutes discussing the matter with myself. Now it’s not a problem for me – I can argue if I know I’m right.

2. Getting straight to the point - You ought to see the way I was writing letters! It wasn’t a letter - it was a detailed composition explaining what should be done. The reader forgot about the beginning by the end of my long narration. Now I know the easiest way to get information from a person I need. My letters became much shorter but clear.

Tatiana – Marketing

Marketing Assistant

Name: Tatiana
Nationality: Russian
Where I work for RB: Russia – Marketing
Education: I graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University the faculty of foreign languages in 2006.
Career: I started working at RB about a year ago. Why RB? The reason is that I was offered a position as a marketing department assistant, which I took as I’m really interested in marketing. I was also interested in the good experience, discipline and organisation the role would offer.

Having worked at RB for 6 months I was asked to coordinate Vanish artworks development process. I was responsible for coordinating our agency (designers / copywriters) and with CIS countries representatives (as artworks contain AZ, KZ, BY languages). This all had to be checked very carefully to avoid a delay in launch which would result in losses for RB. Fortunately there is a great team spirit between my colleagues and we completed the task successfully so that new product was launched in time.

At the present I feel very confident about my position.  I’m happy when we finish a big project. I really enjoy working at RB; I love to be a part of great team.
