Today I want to share something that I realized today in a client’s meeting.

Where I work for RB: Brazil – Sales

Career:  I graduated in Marketing and I have always worked in the area. In the beginning of my second year at University I joined the Junior Company and after that I worked in the telecom field, beverage industry and advertising agency as a strategic planner.

However, I knew that even if I had a profound knowledge in Marketing, it wouldn’t be enough to take me where I plan to be in 4 or 5 years, I needed to be better, to learn more about other areas of the business so I would be able to develop a greater global view, a differentiator. That’s when I decided to join the RB Trainee team. I knew that it was not just a company; it was not just a job; that I would have to work hard, and set myself to make my career happen. So I did.

First, I started in Sales, where I had the greatest learning about the business. I was responsible for a project called ‘Order to Delivery’ in which I had to analyse the whole chain and process, so I could then develop and implement an improvement plan. After that I went to Marketing where I also had a great experience with several Personal Care product projects.

At the moment, I’m back to the Sales Team, working as a Sales Executive on the Pharmaceutical channel. Now I have even bigger responsibilities such as; managing 9 clients each with a different profile, reaching strong targets, and developing an action plan for each of them every month. It is an amazing and challenging opportunity, being part of the team is about outperforming results, it makes you want to be better at every month.
