Vinicius – IS

Information Services Graduate

Name: Vinicius

Nationality: Brazilian

Where I work for RB: Slough, UK

Education: I graduated in Computer Science from Unicamp in Brazil at the end of 2006. I also participated in a 10 month exchange program at Concordia University in Montreal – Canada during my university studies.

Career: Before joining RB Brazil I worked during 6 months for Toyota at the Customer Quality Division in Brazil as a trainee. Prior to that I had participated in a couple of internships as a computer programmer while I was still studying.

I started working at RB in August 2007 as an IS Graduate in Sao Paulo – Brazil. The main reasons why I was attracted to RB was the opportunity to have a fast paced career and real international opportunities.

Since day 1 I was given real responsibilities and opportunities to learn and help the company to continue with its superior growth by participating in key projects.

During my first two years I was based in Brazil working on and leading IS projects across different functions such as Sales, Finance, Category and Supply and also throughout different countries within Latin America like Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica and Colombia.

Last September I moved to Slough – UK to work at RB Global Headquarters for the last 12 months of my graduate programme. If everything goes as expected in September 2010 I will be offered a Business Analyst position somewhere else in the world! The best thing is: It can be anywhere!!!!
