You don't have to look far to find some truly horrendous interview stories from people who quite clearly didn't put a lot of thought into that important meeting.
Or maybe they put way too much thought into it and lost sight of what was important?
Who knows, but given the huge competition for jobs these days and the importance of the meeting you're attending, it's surprising just how many horror stories there are.
Sure the interview process is daunting and can make you nervous, but some of the tales I've read do make me wonder about the people making these applications!

Name: Indy Bansil

Where I work for RB: UK – Corporate Headquarters

Education: I hold a MSc with distinction, in ‘Strategic Marketing and Consulting’ from the University of Birmingham Business School.

Career: I previously worked in the field of chemical engineering as a Production Line Manager at Kodak, before making the decision to pursue a career in marketing. Following on from a consultancy project I completed for Reckitt Benckiser, I joined the Global Corporate Communications team working on corporate brand marketing and brand awareness initiatives.

The responsibility and ownership given to me in my current role has been amazing. It has involved highlights such as presenting at an partnership launch to audience of over 600 people in India and winning two awards for our social media work.
