It’s not easy being green--but RB has grasped it!

Hi again! I’m back and decided to write about the trend of going green, how RB has been heavily involved with this initiative, and why it matters to college students around the world!

Growing up, my parents taught me what needed to be thrown in the garbage and what needed to be thrown in the recycling, and I followed these rules as best I could. When I came to college, I was finally on my own, and it was now my individual responsibility to take care of the environment. If I were to be completely honest, I was a little lackadaisical with my duties in the beginning of my college experience, occasionally forgetting to recycle here and there.

Yet, Penn State made it easy for me to remember. My roommates have always been committed to environmental issues and have kept recycling bins in our dorm rooms and apartments over the last four years.
